Anti-social behaviour
GayTactos Facebook Twitter linkedin
Anti-social behaviour is any behaviour which causes people harassment, alarm or distress. There are many types of anti-social behaviour including begging, street prostitution, drug dealing, drug taking, dog fouling and drunken, rowdy behaviour.

Westminster City Council works with the police, housing providers and other local agencies to tackle anti-social behaviour. Depending on the behaviour, sometimes all that is needed is a talk with local police explaining that the behaviour is unacceptable. For more serious and persistent behaviour a range of options are available including anti-social behaviour orders (ASBOs), a fine or even imprisonment. We also try to make it difficult for anti-social behaviour to take place by improving security on housing estates, cutting back shrubs in a park to get rid of dark, quiet corners, or by encouraging off-licenses not to sell cheap high-strength alcohol.
